Garden Spring Engagement Photos at McGovern Centennial Gardens

I had the pleasure of capturing these garden spring engagement photos for Katherine and John! As a photographer, capturing the genuine love between a couple is always the best feeling. This session was no exception. And, was at one of my favorite locations – McGovern Centennial Gardens! This space is filled with a garden aesthetic and an open area with city views. Kathrine and John’s Engagement Session

Katherine is from New Orleans. Therefore, Kathrine and John chose to have their wedding in New Orleans! Additionally, with John being a native Houstonian, they wanted to choose a location in Houston that represented their new beginnings as a couple. So, we chose McGovern Centennial Gardens as the backdrop of this session! It was the definition of a perfect spring backdrop. McGovern Centennial Gardens is the go-to engagement location if you are wanting a spring vibe to your photos. Flowers and greenery filled McGovern Centennial Gardens, creating a bright and joyous atmosphere. Moreover, it offers couples a dreamy outdoor garden to exchange vows, serving as a beautiful wedding venue. A fun part of this day was their special furry friend. I absolutely loved that they brought their wiener dog, Julep! In my opinion, Julep added an extra layer of happiness to the session, and it was clear that she is an important part of their lives. As you scroll through these photos, I hope you can feel the love and joy that radiates from Katherine and John. It was truly an honor to capture these precious moments for them, and I can’t wait to see the beautiful journey they embark on together!
