I am sure you have heard me say this a time or two about a bride, but to know Emma is to love Emma. She is hilarious, beautiful, and the sweetest ray of sunshine on the planet. My favorite thing about Emma is how animated she is. I just love her to pieces.
Emma brought her sister and maid-of-honor Ruth, along with her mom to her bridal session at the River Oaks Garden Club. I think we all gasped once she stepped out in her beautiful wedding gown. The dress was perfect for Emma. I love how simple the front is and then a gorgeous accent bow in the back. It was stunning.
We started the session under the beautiful green arches at the River Oaks Garden Club. The arches create such a classic garden feel and right in the center of Houston. Emma is so elegant, so I knew this would be the perfect space for her. We moved the side of the building where there is a wall of white paned windows. Emma’s mom made the comment that the windows reminded her of their patio. I love that while we were not at their family home, a piece of her bridal session will provoke a thought of home.
Throughout the session we laughed, had all of the heart eyes for Emma, and practiced “soft, bridal hands” more times than I can count. So much so, that on the wedding day, Emma literally says “soft, bridal hands” during her and her now husband’s couple portraits! hehe Which brings me to my next thought….don’t think twice about booking bridals. I say this because Emma and Michael’s wedding day was filled with good luck aka rain and had we not done bridals in advance, we would have been in a bit of a pickle to find the time to do outdoor portraits! Plus, you get an extra day to wear the most beautiful gown and play with the prettiest flowers!
Eleanor Tinsley Park Sometimes life hands you two people that you instantly connect with and feel like you have known them for forever. From the first time we chatted, I knew I loved Kelsey. She is so fun and has the best energy. I was super excited to meet Kelsey & Tyler for their downtown […]

Chelsea & Marcus I can safely say that I have photographed a wedding in every season at Still Waters Ranch. However, Chelsea and Marcus’ wedding day was my first summer Still Waters Ranch wedding and it was so amazing. Very hot, but amazing. Our sweet bride actually had two major life events to celebrate. The […]

Camp Lucy Wedding A summer spent at the lake, is a summer well spent. And a Lake Livingston engagement session is the cherry on top. Sydney and Reid spend a lot of time at their family lake house, so it was only fitting to have the engagement session there as well. Truthfully, it was my […]

ChinoiserieInspired Nursery Who ever came up with the saying “it takes a village to raise a child”, absolutely knew what they were talking about. One detail they left out was that it takes a production team to prepare for a portrait session with a baby. When I arrived for the V family’s Houston lifestyle newborn […]

Galveston Wedding Annie & Austin are getting married this fall in Galveston at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, so we thought what better place than the strand for their engagement session? I love the beautiful architecture and the cobblestone roadway that runs through the historic district. Our first stop was The Tremont House. If you haven’t […]

Galveston Island Photographer There is no prettier beach location in Galeveston than East Beach’s Beachtown for family portraits. The houses are stunning, the light is soft, and the beach is peaceful. Children also enjoy the beach because there are so many things for them to explore and see. With all of those factors in mind, […]

The Springs Trinity Farmhouse 14 years! That is half my age, ha, I wish. However, that is the amount of time that Ashley and Andy have been dating, so a Trinity Farmhouse wedding was long over due for these lovebirds. Knowing that was going to be a beautiful and exciting wedding, I was counting down […]

The Springs Wallisville I am so excited to finally be able to share Ashley’s stunning Trinity Farmhouse bridal portraits! Guess what that means? She is now officially a MRS! If you follow along, you probably know that I sure love a bridal portrait session. One of my favorite things about bridals is seeing the dress […]

Beachtwown Galveston I love photographing maternity sessions, but Galveston maternity sessions are some of my favorites. Especially, when I have a sweet, furry friend to photograph. Sarah and Peter are expecting their first baby and wanted to document the occasion on the island. Galveston holds a special place to the couple; it is the city […]

The Wedding Details Still Waters Ranch is one of the most lovely venues south of Houston. It features a large lake, a rustic outdoor chapel, and perfect for a couple wanting an elegant farmhouse wedding. With that being said, it was no surprise to me that Caroline & Caleb would choose to host their wedding […]

Christina Elliott, THE PHOTOGRAPHER
I’ve always loved weddings. From the moment the bride first catches a glimpse of herself in her dress to the shared bottle of Veuve Clicquot the couple sips with their cake at the end of the night, I fall a little more in love with my work every day. I still tear up during toasts and get chills when the bride takes her first step down the aisle.
I spend my days documenting graceful celebrations and my nights with my husband scouring the city for the best new Thai restaurant. From mountain biking adventures with the whole family to the rush of helping a bride perfect a seemingly-impossible wedding day timeline, I believe life is a thrilling adventure.
And the day you say “I do” should be the most thrilling of all! I can’t wait to escort you through this process, enabling you to fully enjoy every moment while creating memories you’ll be able to return to for a lifetime.
