Winter Houston Engagement

Oak tree lined pathway at Rice University for a Houston engagement session.

Rice University

When planning Hai & Christian’s winter Houston engagement session, the request was that the location have beautiful, mature trees and neutral backgrounds. Luckily, I didn’t have to search long and hard. As soon as she communicated her vision for their winter Houston engagement session, I knew we had to go Rice University. The Rice campus is just beautiful and full of greenery during these cold, winter months.
Fortunately for us, the weather was amazing and Hai & Christian looked STUNNING! I would be remiss if I didn’t make note of the bride-to-be’s amazing shoe choice… The Manolo Blahnik Hangsi Crystal Buckle Pump…A classic style that is one of my personal favorites! I could write a whole blog on shoes, so let’s get back on topic, Hai & Christian.
They obviously have style, but what I love most is their dynamic. They have fun together and they have fun with the people that surround them. Hai’s sister and brother-in-law actually came to assist with hair and making sure everything was perfect for their engagement session. They were both great and it was nice to have a second pair of eyes to catch little things. I love their engagement portraits so much and I cannot wait for this sweet couple to say I do in a few short months. I know it will be a fun one!

If you are engaged, living in the Houston area and looking for a Houston wedding photographer for your engagement photos and to capture your wedding day, I would love to speak with you about your wedding photography needs. Please contact me and let’s chat!
