The Barn at Willowynn Wedding

JohnAnna & Cody’s January wedding was a great way to kick off 2021. They said their I do’s at the Barn at Willowynn in Santa, Fe. It was my first visit to the venue and I love the modern barn concept. The black trim with the rustic finishes are the perfect combination. And get this, the venue even has their own shot donkey, Willie! How incredibly fun is that? 
One of my favorite things about JohnAnna and Cody’s day was the family dynamic. The brides sisters were in the bridal party and the couples children were also in the wedding. Their little girl even lost a tooth during the reception. It was such a cute moment! JohnAnna & Cody elected to not to a first look, but she did with the father of the bride and her bridesmaids. She was simply stunning and their reactions show just that. Cody was also smiling from ear to ear as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle. After sharing a big kiss and wrapping up family portraits, it was finally time to let loose. And let me tell you, JohnAnna and Cody can dance. Cody twirled his new bride around the dance floor and the guests loved every second of it! Then came my favorite part of the wedding, cake cutting. The Mother of the Groom made both the wedding cake and groom’s cake and they were both so yummy! Yes, I tried both. Tipsy Cowgirls bar service crafted delicious cocktails for the guests, as they danced the night away. And what night would be complete without a sparkler exit? JohnAnna and Cody raced down the sparkling pathway, surrounded by all of their loved ones, laughing and soaking up the day.
