These bridal photos were so much fun to take! Julie was so wonderful to work with. Truthfully, she made my job easy! She is a natural beauty and looked gorgeous in her dress. And to top it all off, she has the sweetest personality! It was so fun to learn about her story while taking her photos. Julie is a first grade teacher in Austin, Texas. Both she and her fiance recently moved to Austin for job opportunities. Her fiance Jordan just absolutely adores her and I can’t wait to see his reaction to her in her wedding dress.
We took her photos at Still Waters Ranch in Alvin, TX. It’s a pretty new venue that recently opened earlier this year. It is a barn styled venue with white shiplap throughout and beautiful stained tressels to accent the facility. There is also a lovely open, outdoor chapel. It was the perfect location for her bridals, but would also make a gorgeous venue for a wedding.
The day was incredibly sunny without a single cloud in the sky. Every now and then a stray cloud would float by and we would jump out from under the porch to get some great shots in the lawn. Her dad and mom were both there to assist, which was so fun. They were so invested in her photos; Julie’s dad really has an eye for detail. He helped lay out her dress, hold the veil, and brush away those flyaway hairs. Really, he was happy to do whatever was asked of him. He was a super dad and assistant for Julie’s bridals.
