We started the session under the beautiful green arches at the River Oaks Garden Club. The arches create such a classic garden feel and right in the center of Houston. If you visit during March, the Gardens are apart of the Azalea Trail, which is always a lovely event. Emma is so elegant, so I knew this would be the perfect space for her. We moved the side of the building where there is a wall of white paned windows. Emma’s mom made the comment that the windows reminded her of their patio. I love that while we were not at their family home, a piece of her bridal session will provoke a thought of home.
Which brings me to my final thought, if you’re on the fence about bridals, just go for it. I say this because Emma and Michael’s wedding day was filled with good luck aka rain. Had we not done bridals in advance, we would have been in a bit of a pickle to find the time to do outdoor portraits! Plus, you get an extra day to wear the most beautiful gown and play with the prettiest flowers!
