These Houston engagement photos at McGovern Centennial Gardens with Alexis and Zach was such a dream to capture! Not only was this session incredibly romantic, but it was also so much fun! McGovern Centennial Gardens is one of my favorite locations to do engagement sessions, and even weddings. With eight beautifully maintained acres of gardens and stunning architecture, you just can’t go wrong with choosing this location. Aside from that, their are several gardens here, so a multitude of different looks are possible when you choose to have your engagement session or wedding here!
Alexis & Zach’s McGovern Centennial Gardens Houston Engagement Photos
I’m just obsessed with Alexis and the energy she brought to the session! She is so fun to be around and hilarious. My friend Bridgett from Bespoken Beauty did her makeup, and she called me before the session started and mentioned that she loved Alexis and she knew I would as well. She was so right!
We actually had to reschedule this session three times because May was an incredibly rainy month here in Houston. It was actually raining during their engagement session this time as well, but they decided to just go for it! I loved that they were such a go with the flow couple and made the best of the situation. I think regardless of the rain, their engagement photos turned out so beautiful, and the energy and enthusiasm they brought to their session certainly helped as well. Alexis and Zach are getting married this fall at Bridal Oaks with the help of their wedding planner, Every Step Planning, and I’m so excited for them!
