Do you know that feeling when you meet someone and you just instantly love them? That is Emma & Michael. They are kind, funny, and crazy about each other. I just want to hug them both!
We met at Brazos Bend State Park for their summer engagement session. Emma wore the most stunning floral lavender dress and Michael looked dapper in his suit, despite it being 1000 degrees. Luckily, they are saying I do in January at the Parador in Houston, so we should hopefully have great weather and heat won’t be a factor.
Although it was a bit toasty, the park was so beautiful and the perfect location for their engagement session. One of my favorite features of Brazos Bend State Park is the Spanish Moss hanging from the trees. They filter the light and allow just enough to sparkle through. My least favorite thing at the park are the bugs. I’m pretty sure Emma didn’t care for them either, but she braved bugs crawling in the tulle of her dress to get the perfect shot. Luckily, we got it the first time and we were able to quickly retreat to the concrete. We had a good laugh once we were all clear on the bugs.
Knowing Emma & Michael, I can only imagine how fun their wedding is going to be and I cannot wait to celebrate them in 2022!
