If you’re ever looking for an all white space with a touch of something special, look no further than the Oak Atelier in The Woodlands, TX. The property features a few indoor spaces as well as this lovely glasshouse, the Willow. The floor to ceiling glass panes and white sheer panels create the most lovely setting for any portrait session, but especially a maternity session.
I photographed Holly and Josh’s engagement session a few years back, so I was super excited when she contacted me to photograph her maternity session. I was even more excited when she said she wanted to have the session at the Oak Atelier. An Oak Atelier maternity session? Yes, please! Holly wore a white lace maternity gown. It fit her like a glove and perfectly accented her cute baby bump. Oh, and I forgot to mention, like all of my other clients this year, she was having a BOY! Absolutely the year of baby boys! Maybe 2022 will switch it up and we will see all the sweet little girls! Parenthood is a challenging and exciting journey; I am so excited for Holly and Josh to meet their little guy and experience all of the joy a baby brings.
