Annie and Merritt had the most romantic coastal sunset wedding on the beach here in Galveston, Texas on their family’s private property. It was so beautiful, and it will definitely give you some coastal destination beach wedding vibes, just without the sand. Annie and Merrit first met at UT Austin and were originally planning for a destination wedding in Mexico. They ended up deciding to get married at Merritt’s family bay house instead. While a destination beach wedding in Mexico would have been so fun, I think they brought as much beach and coastal vibes that they could for their Galveston wedding day!
Annie & Merritt’s Coastal Sunset Wedding on The Beach in Galveston
Annie and Merritt first met at UT Austin! They have a very playful banter and are super cute together. They definitely know how to make eachother laugh, and I loved every minute of capturing their romantic sunset beach wedding. Annie snorts when she laughs, and it is the most hilarious and cutest thing ever! She looked so beautiful in her wedding dress. I loved the coastal kind of colors they chose for their wedding day like the light blue, tan, with a touch of light pink from the bridesmaids dresses. Their entire setup including their tables and decor also fit the vibe perfectly.
Later in the evening, Annie and Merritt also took some bride and groom portraits together on their familys boat during sunset. Afterwards, they headed over to the patio to join their guests and celebrate with them. They had so much fun dancing into the night with their friends and family with some colorful glowsticks! The night ended perfectly and they had the most spectacular sparkler wedding exit! Everything about this day was amazing, and I’m so glad that I was able to be a part of it and capture these memories!
