A SCOTLAND WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
I'm Christina
Inga and Connor’s wedding at the Carriage House Wedding Venue in Conroe, TX was my first event to photograph of the fall. Being that we are in Texas, it was still a little toasty, but a perfect day nonetheless. Plus, it is always a bonus when I get to work with my favorite gals at Bespoken Beauty! Inga carefully selected champagne, coral, blush, and ivory to make up her wedding day color pallet. I love the warm earthy tones she selected; they were the perfect colors to compliment her mostly white bouquet. Unforgettable Florals knocked the arrangements out of the park. From the beautiful wooden cross in the Carriage House Chapel to the florals carefully draped atop the welcome signage, no detail was missed. Now it was time to get the beautiful bride ready to meet her groom. Inga’s mother and sister helped get her into her dress and once I saw her I repeatedly told her that she was a real life Barbie bride! She was simply stunning. As we lined up the bridesmaids for the big reveal, I could feel their excitement. When they opened their eyes and saw their best gal, they screamed and cried tears of joy. After all of the hugs were done, we headed out to the patio in front of the chapel to snap a few bridal party portraits. The lighting was perfect and the ladies looked flawless. Guests were beginning to arrive, so we tucked the bridal party away till it was time for Inga to meet her groom. Connor was so anxious to see Inga, but the moment he saw her his anxiety was calmed by the joy of seeing his bride. The couple prepared personal vows that shared during the ceremony that moved both to tears. But now it was time to kiss the bride and what a kiss it was! The new Mr. and Mrs. Lampis cheered as they walked back down the aisle and stopped midway for another kiss. Once we had completed the couples portraits, it was time for the grand entrance, followed by the first dance. Inga’s dress floated across the dance floor and the chandeliers in the Carriage House reception area perfectly lit the moment. Once the dance floor opened to the guests, Inga’s bridesmaids tore up the dance floor and quite literally did not miss a beat. The couple enjoyed a private dance on the patio before ending the night the sparkler send off. The couple ran through the sparkling path as their friends and family cheered and into their get-a-way vehicle to start their new life as husband and wife!
