The Wedding Details
Still Waters Ranch is one of the most lovely venues south of Houston. It features a large lake, a rustic outdoor chapel, and perfect for a couple wanting an elegant farmhouse wedding. With that being said, it was no surprise to me that Caroline & Caleb would choose to host their wedding at Still Waters Ranch.
The day began with tons of sunshine and a warm breeze. Personally, this was a welcome change to the run of cold, rainy wedding days I have had recently. With any wedding day, the first items we will photograph are the wedding day details. The details include the invitation suite, rings, bouquets, glittery shoes, and any other that builds on the story of the day. Caroline had a simple, yet beautiful invitation and vow books within her day of details. Once we have completed that piece, we head right into photographing one of the most fun subjects of the day, the bridal party! I love photographing the bridal party! Everyone has their hair and makeup done, looking and feeling their best, and just there to celebrate their bride! Caroline had 10 bridesmaids! 10! I am sure she was feeling quite loved on her wedding day! They were all so beautiful and so sweet!

Now it was time to get the wedding day jitters out of the way and see her handsome groom for the first time. Caroline and Caleb wanted to share a private moment prior to the ceremony and decided to do a first look. He could not stop telling his bride how beautiful she was. She was so gorgeous in her beaded, sweetheart neck gown. Caroline asked Caleb if her dress was what he had envisioned her in and he replied that it was the best combination of what he had in mind. Prior to tucking away for the ceremony, we decided to stay under the porched in area of the venue due to the wind for a few couple portraits. I loved their sweet interactions with each other.
With guests beginning to arrive, it was officially time to get these two lovebirds married! Caleb cried as his gorgeous bride walked down the aisle. As she walked down, they had a live guitarist and duet singing songs of worship. Their ceremony was centered around their love for Christ and it was so beautiful. When it was finally time to kiss his bride, Caleb gave Caroline the biggest kiss with an even bigger smile on his face! Congratulations to the Maly’s!
