On February 27th, Nina and Nate should have been celebrating with their family and friends in Mexico, but like so many couples their big wedding had to be postponed for later in the year. Not wanting to wait till October to get married, Nina and Nate decided to say their I do’s in a private ceremony at Memorial Park. It was short and sweet, but full of love.
Nearby, there was a baby shower taking place. The shower guests were also participating as wedding guests and cheered as Nate kissed his new bride. They even sent over a tray of champagne and goodies! Now that is a baby shower I want to attend.
After the ceremony, we took some formal and fun portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. We started out on the pathways in the Eastern Glades area of Memorial Park and then headed to the dock. Nate popped the champagne and y’all it sprayed everywhere. And by everywhere, I mean the wind strategically carried the champagne mist right over to me. At least we all got a good laugh out of it.
We finished off the photos with the couples fur baby’s in floral collars before the newlyweds headed off for a celebratory dinner at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. Yum. I understand why I wasn’t invited this time, but next time I am coming and we will get the cheesecake! Congratulations to Nina & Nate!!
