McGovern Centennial Gardens Engagement

I am going to introduce you to two of the most beautiful people inside and out, Shannon and Sunil. After getting to know both of them, it is no surprise to me that they are both frontline healthcare workers. They are both loving and compassionate people with hearts of gold. Despite the work challenges they were already experiencing, their wedding has been pushed back not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 times due to the pandemic and safety concerns. However, their September wedding date at the Bell Tower on 34th is looking a little brighter this time around. 
With all of the postponed dates, Shannon wanted to get some recent photos to freshen up their save the dates. We headed over to McGovern Centennial Gardens in the Houston Museum District for their engagement session. It was so beautiful. Every flower was in bloom, the weather was beautiful, and not a cloud in the sky. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day.
Speaking of perfect days, lets fast forward to September. I love a wedding period. So you could imagine my excitement when Shannon let me know that there will be TWO ceremonies! The cherry on top is the traditional Indian ceremony that will take place in the morning! It will be my first and I absolutely can’t wait to see all of the beautiful gowns and the cultural traditions. Not to mention the food. Butter chicken with a piece of cheesy naan, yes please! 
I can’t wait to finally celebrate Shannon & Sunil. It is sure to be one heck of a day!
