ChinoiserieInspired Nursery
Who ever came up with the saying “it takes a village to raise a child”, absolutely knew what they were talking about. One detail they left out was that it takes a production team to prepare for a portrait session with a baby. When I arrived for the V family’s Houston lifestyle newborn session, hair & makeup with Etoilly Artistry was just finishing up, so I had a moment to look at the spaces we would be using for their Houston lifestyle newborn session. The nursery was the best combination of all of my favorite design elements. Monogrammed everything, applique pillows, and chinoiserie inspired nursery decor. It is just perfect.
Just like the little boy that calls the space home, Elliott. Did I mention he has the best name ever? Well, that is probably just me being a tiny bit biased. Speaking of Elliott, he kept his little eyes open through their entire session and never once whimpered. He is as gentle as his sweet parents and the cutest baby ever. He also has a furry brother, Clark, that is watching over him. Funny story, I mistakingly took thought the dog bed was a bassinet and had Sarah place Elliott in it. In my defense, it did not look like a dog bed, and perfectly blended with the other decor. Wishing Sarah & Peter many congratulations on your new bundle of joy!
