Elizabeth and Matthew had a beautiful sunny day in February 2020 to say “I Do.” I just loved shooting this whimsical wedding at The Springs Wallisville.
This gorgeous venue in Wallisville, TX features high ceilings with large windows allowing lots of natural light to pour in. Between the whitewashed walls and the dreamy outdoor ceremony space, it made for the perfect backdrop for those light and airy wedding photos.
Of course, it’s all about the details. Elizabeth’s talented family did the bouquets and boutonnieres for the wedding, giving the whole event a personalized touch. Her white, with a hint of blush, bouquet complemented her empire waist, floral appliqué, tulle wedding gown by BHLDN, perfectly. She finished off the look with Sarto strappy sandals, which brought out the blush lining of her gown.
I always love when venues have private chambers for the wedding party to get dressed and The Springs suites did not disappoint!
The couple decided not to do a first look so we made sure to capture Matthew’s adoring expression as he watched his bride float down the aisle. He looked so dashing in his blue suit!
While the bridesmaids were pretty in pink and the flower girls were a vision in white, the groomsmen and ring bearers made a statement in blue to match the groom.
After taking some formal photos on the lawn at The Springs, it was time to celebrate! The couple’s guests munched on their favorite foods from Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen before dancing the night away. And instead of your typical layered wedding cake, Elizabeth and Matthew decided to have three simple cakes, two with floral toppers and the other with a gorgeous gold “Mr. & Mrs” sign.
To finish off the romantic event, the new Mr. & Mrs. left the venue under a shower of love and sparklers and then shared a private final dance.
