The Tremont House Black-Tie Wedding

Hallie and Reece’s love story began at Texas A&M University, where they met as proud Fighting Texas Aggies, but their wedding day brought them somewhere especially meaningful—Galveston. With Hallie’s family spending years making memories on the island, Galveston felt like the perfect place to say “I do.” For their celebration, they chose two timeless historic Galveston wedding venues that perfectly reflected their romantic vision. Their ceremony took place at the elegant Garten Verein, followed by a classic black tie wedding at The Tremont House in the heart of downtown for the reception. From rich architectural details to the charm of a coastal city, Hallie and Reece’s Galveston wedding was a beautiful blend of history, romance, and heartfelt tradition.

Hallie had a beautifully clear vision for her wedding day—timeless, chic, and effortlessly elegant—and the talented team at LNC Weddings brought her classic black-tie wedding at the Tremont to life with absolute perfection. From the soft pink head-table linens to the oyster shell seating chart and custom pink reception books, every element felt intentional, refined, and undeniably romantic. And then there was the dress—a true showstopper adorned with floral appliqué and finished with a dramatic removable skirt that created a breathtaking moment worthy of any editorial Galveston wedding photographer.

Their ceremony at The Tremont House was deeply personal and filled with emotion, officiated by the father of one of Hallie’s bridesmaids. As Hallie and Reese exchanged vows, her parents looked on with tears in their eyes, soaking in every second of their daughter’s “I do.” It was intimate, heartfelt, and incredibly meaningful—exactly the kind of ceremony couples dream of when planning a Tremont House wedding.

And then came the reception—and what a celebration it was. This crowd knew how to party. J. Kelley Productions kept the dance floor packed all night long, with crowd surfing, microphone moments led by Hallie and Reese, and nonstop energy that made it one of the most unforgettable receptions I’ve ever photographed as a Tremont House wedding photographer. The food was equally memorable—The Tremont House’s catering is unmatched, and the crab cake balls were truly divine.

The night ended in iconic fashion with the Aggie War Hymn, forming what may have been the largest Aggie circle ever, followed by a final photo session in front of the legendary Mardi Gras décor outside The Tremont House. It was joyful, electric, sentimental, and hands-down one of the best nights ever—everything a Galveston wedding should be.
