Beachtown Family Portraits

There is no prettier beach location in Galeveston than East Beach’s Beachtown for family portraits. The houses are stunning, the light is soft, and the beach is peaceful. Children also enjoy the beach because there are so many things for them to explore and see. With all of those factors in mind, Beachtown was the perfect location for the Nelson family to take their portraits. 
It was a breezy, sunny day. Personally, I love how the wind adds interest to a photo by gently lifting a flowy gown or blowing the hair back. Our couple’s sweet boy loved exploring the beach. He played in the sand and searched for sea shells. A great way to bring fun into a family portrait session is by using the elements within the location to create authentic moments. We even climbed over a palm tree, how fun is that? 
While the little man was off playing with dad, we snapped some beautiful portraits of mom. Nicole is just effortlessly gorgeous and her little baby bump is perfect. I am so honored to have photographed this special moment in life for their family. On a personal note, their session is dear to my heart because I have known her husband since the 7th grade, and I enjoy seeing the people I grew up with grow their families. However, I hope to meet you and you family and create magical memories at the beach!
