Gabby and Charlie’s McGovern Centennial Gardens winter engagement session in the Houston Museum District was a dream. As a Houston wedding photographer, I have to say that McGovern Centennial Gardens just so happens to be one of my favorite venues. Whether it be a McGovern Centennial Gardens wedding or engagement, you can’t go wrong at this location! The gardens sit on eight acres, which provide so many different kinds of backdrops for your photos. In addition to several different garden rooms, the gardens have beautifully maintained lawns and stunning architecture.
Gabby & Charlie’s Winter Engagement to Their McGovern Centennial Gardens Wedding
Charlie and Gabby will also be getting married at McGovern Centennial Gardens next February. I can’t wait for their special day, and I know that it will be absolutely stunning. Gabby and Charlie both met in college, and they are not originally from Houston. Charlie actually works for The Houston Atros! They relocated to the area for work.
McGovern Centennial Gardens offer two different garden spaces for weddings, and both are gorgeous. The Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion is a sleek and modern indoor ceremony space with the best natural lighting from its tall windows, which also has acess to the outdoor patio. You also have views of the Centennial Garden from this space. Located outdoors, the Celebration Garden is surrounded by tall lush hedges, ideal for privacy during your wedding. You truly can’t go wrong with either of these spaces, as they’re both so beautiful.
