The Hotel Galvez Wedding

Bernadette and David have the greatest love story and I was so honored to be apart of their day at the Hotel Galvez on Galveston Island for their summer wedding. Bernadette and David actually grew up together, but life happened and took them in different directions. Luckily, life also brought them back together and brought two handsome young men and one lovely little gal to now call family. 
Speaking of that little gal, she and her mama did a first look and it was the most special moment. She was so overcome with emotion seeing her mama in her beautiful wedding gown and brought us all to tears. Then we did a first look with David and cue the tears again. That’s one thing the wedding wasn’t short of, love. There is so much love for Bernadette and David from not only their families, but all of their friends as well. A guest said their wedding was like a neighborhood homecoming party. And y’all, they got down at this homecoming. 
Bernadette and David entered the reception with the UH Mariachi Band playing. This is the second wedding I have recently attended with a Mariachi band and I am here for it. Soon after the band Mango Punch took the stage and they had every person on their feet dancing and singing till the night ended. The night ended at midnight if that gives any idea of how much fun their wedding party was. The night ended with a streamer send off into a black classic car to start their new life as husband and wife.
