A SCOTLAND WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
I'm Christina
Kaylan and Daniel had a gorgeous, sunny day for their August wedding at The Ivory Oak near Austin, Texas. Though the couple had considered postponing their big day due to Covid-19, they decided to move forward with their original date and everyone was able to celebrate safely thanks to the venue’s expansive grounds.
Kaylan spent her morning getting ready with her bridesmaids in the Bridal Cottage. I just loved her rhinestone covered sneakers – stunning and comfy!
The girls had such a fun time the morning of, there was even an impromptu pajama dance party!
Before showing her bridesmaids her final look, Kaylan shared a sweet moment with her mom as she helped her into her timeless off-the-shoulder dress.
Kaylan had asked her sister Amy to be her Maid of Honor. They have the sweetest connection! Amy was by her sister’s side every step of the way, from engagement photos to bridal fittings, to the big day!
In their dusty rose dresses, the bridesmaids complemented their blush and deep pink bouquets from Wild Bunches Floral perfectly. And the soft curls and naturally glamorous makeup by Katy Reddell Beauty completed the bridal party’s radiant looks.
Daniel and his groomsmen enjoyed playing cornhole while getting ready in the Groom’s Suite. Don’t they look dapper in their classic blue suits?
Before they walked down the aisle, the couple shared a few moments together. Daniel was bowled over when he saw how gorgeous Kaylan looked. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her!
Kaylan and Daniel have some amazing friends that they had asked to be apart of their wedding. Their energy was infectious as the group hammed it up for the camera!
The ceremony took place on the grounds of The Ivory Oak with the sun shining through the trees. When the bride and groom finally said “I do,” Daniel dipped Kaylan for their first kiss. So romantic!
With its crisp bright walls and grey tones, The Ivory Oak was the perfect setting for this white wedding. Lush greenery lined the center of the tables while gold candle holders and plates added a touch of elegance. But the centerpiece of the reception was a grouping of large marquee letters that spelled out “LOVE,” setting the theme for the rest of the evening.
Their classic 3-tier white cake with blush and deep pink roses and a gold cake topper that read “Kaylan & Daniel” was created by Simply Delicious Custom Cakes … and it was simply delicious!
The groom whirled his wife around the room for their first dance and once it was done, it was time to open up the floor to party! Kaylan didn’t stop dancing for the rest of the night!
Thank you so much to Kalyan and Daniel for allowing me to be such a big part of your special day.
